Firefighters snuff out Silver Lake house blaze on Waverly Drive

Silver Lake — A small “contents” fire inside a hillside home was quickly extinguished this morning by firefighters, said the L.A. Fire Department.

Firefighters took less than 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze that was reported at 9:20 am in the two-story home in the 2600 block of Waverly Drive on the far north end of the neighborhood, according to LAFD.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
