Wedding Party: Students at Immaculate Heart in Los Feliz held a viewing party last night to watch and cheer as alumnus Meghan Markle, who graduated from the Catholic school in 1999, married Prince Harry. L.A. Times

Freeway Baby: A woman who went into labor on the 5 Freeway in Lincoln Heights thanked the two CHP officers who delivered her daughter, Mia Ariyah Lopez, on Mother’s Day.  “You don’t really think about everything that’s happening until after the fact,” officer Kyle Biedermann said during a Friday news conference. “After the fact we were talking about it and we were just like, ‘Wow! We delivered a baby.’” KTLA

Park Improvements: Members of the San Pascual Neighborhood Watch, Councilman Jose Huizar and other officials are scheduled to unveil and celebrate $700,000 worth of improvements to San Pascual Park in Highland Park. The first phase phase of improvements — which  include a new playground, basketball court, outdoor fitness area, ADA walkways and a refurbished parking lot along Comet Street — have been completed.  Still be completed are new restrooms.
