Boyle Heights — Police were faced with uncooperative neighbors late Monday afternoon as they investigated numerous reports of shots fired in the 3100 block of Atlantic Street, according to the LAPD.
No one was injured but officers found a bullet fragment inside a home, said Sgt. Miguel Lopez with the LAPD’s Hollenbeck Division.
Police believe the shooting, reported at about 5:40 pm, may have been driveby, but it’s not clear what exactly happened. Neighbors were uncooperative when officers inquired about the incident, Lopez said.
