Hermon  —  A large tree blocked the bike lane and the southbound lane of traffic on Monterey Road this morning, according to Josef Bray-Ali, who took a photo.

There’s no word on when the tree fell or if it has been cleared from the roadway.

  1. The tree is obviously dead. Eventually a dead tree will fall over. How was it standing before it fell over. Who’s responsible for maintaining the green space along the street? Why wasn’t it taken down earlier before it became a hazard?

  2. It looks it came from a vacant lot at 3533 Monterey Road.
