Good Works: Volunteer with Youth in Boyle Heights!

Submitted by IMPACTO

IMPACTO is a nonprofit after-school program in Boyle Heights that serves 180 children K-12. We are a 3-site program serving out of the Aliso Pico Recreation Center, Dolores Mission School and Mendez High School. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and caring volunteers to join our organization and give their time to our community.

We are looking for people to:

  1. Help with homework as a tutor
  2. Share their passions through leading an enrichment activity (Painting, Writing, Drawing, Math, Science, SAT workshops, and everything in between).
  3. Coach or referee in our youth sports league (soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball and baseball)

This is a great way to give back. Volunteers should be those who are genuinely willing to create a connection with our youth and bring joy to the community.

If interested or any questions, please contact the Youth Resource Coordinator at impactovolunteer@gmail.com
