Here are today’s highlights from our Eastside Events Calendar and some bonus events to consider:

  • In 1967, Reies Tijerina led a movement to take back land that was lost to Hispanos as a result of the U.S. Mexican War. The East Los Angeles Library presents a discussion with members of Mr. Tijerina’s family and a screening of his speech at UCLA. Go here for details
