Fire damages Silver Lake home near reservoir

Silver Lake   —  Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out early this morning in a hillside home west of the Silver Lake Reservoir, said the L.A. Fire Department.

The home in the 1900 block of N. Redesdale Avenue was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene. The fire, which was first reported shortly before 2 am., was knocked down in about 30 minutes.

One woman who was evaluated by paramedics declined any further medical attention, said LAFD.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
