Fire hits vacant Echo Park area home

Echo Park house burns on Everett

Echo Park  —  Fire damaged a vacant house in the 900 block of Everett Street on Saturday night.

The L.A. Fire Department said the one-story, boarded up house was fully involved in flames when fire crews showed up. It took about 45 minutes to put out the fire, which was reported at 11:34 pm.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the blaze has not been determined.
