No injuries reported during drive-by shooting in El Sereno

Drive by shooting reported on Medford Avenue in El Sereno

El Sereno  –  A possible  gang-related, drive-by shooting  took place Sunday night on the border of El Sereno and Boyle Heights, police said.

Two male suspects were driving in the 2400 block of Medford Street at about 10 p.m. when they shot at a man from their vehicle before fleeing in an unknown direction, said Sgt. Ernesto De Alba with LAPD’s Hollenbeck Division. The victim was not injured in the shooting.

The suspects were described as Latino men, 20- to 25-years-old. They were driving a white, 4-door Toyota Camry.

The investigation is still ongoing.
