Stormy skies viewed from Silver Lake

Stormy skies viewed from Silver Lake | Dan Gershon

Today’s turbulent weather has sent ominous storm clouds rolling across the skies, dumping rain and hail this afternoon in places like Highland Park.

Expect more unsettled and cold weather as the National Weather Service predicts that the snow levels will drop to as low as 1,000 feet in some spots.

Thanks to readers Kevin Kuzma and Dan Gershon for sending in their storm photos.
