El Sereno -- Fire crews are battling a large fire that has broken out this afternoon in a commercial building in the 4900 block of Alhambra Avenue, said the LA Fire Department.

El Sereno - A 31-year-old man was killed Saturday night when he tried to make a left turn on his motorcycle into the path of another vehicle, according to preliminary information from the LAPD.

El Sereno - A 52-year-old man was hospitalized this afternoon after his car slammed into the side of a traffic light pole and a portion of an empty restaurant patio, according to the LAPD Central Traffic Division.
