Possums don't go in the green bin

The green bin supplied by the Department of Sanitation is for is grass and garden clippings. Not possums. But that's what one Silver Lake resident found in his bin amid the greenery, said Sandy Driscoll, the man's neighbor.

"My neighbor opened his trash bin today, and look what was inside! He has no idea how it got in. Looked to me like a teenager, not a baby, but not an adult either. It was alive, and he just tipped over the can and let it go."
