East Los Angeles  — One man was killed following a shooting this morning in the 900 block of S. Sunol Drive, said the L.A. Sheriff’s Department.

The victim, described as a male Latino, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting was reported at 7:12 a.m.

So far there is no information on the suspect or suspects or what prompted the shooting.

Update: The victim was found inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting is not believed to be gang-related based on preliminary information,  said LASD.
