Cypress Park —  A one-story home went up in flames at around 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of Figueroa Street, according to a statement released the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within 16 minutes, preventing the blaze from spreading to neighboring homes.

The building was vacant at the time of the fire, according to LAFD

No injuries were reported. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage to the home.
