Boyle Heights  —  Fire spread through a vacant one-story home in the 300 block of S. Breed Street Tuesday night, according to a statement released by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, which was reported at about 11 pm,  within 20 minutes before it spread to a neighboring two-story duplex that was exposed to the flames.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage is to be determined.
