Boyle Heights  — Firefighters took about 44 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out early this morning in a vacant one-story home in the 2400 block of E. First Street near Soto Street, said the L.A. Fire Department.

The fire was reported at 4:19 am. At one point the building was described to be fully involved in flames.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
