Fire engines parked on Avenue 26 | Christopher Morales

Lincoln Heights  — Firefighters are handling what is described as a small grass fire that broke out shortly after 12 pm near homeless encampments along the Arroyo Seco Parkway (110 Freeway).

Several fire engines were seen on Avenue 26 near the 110 Freeway ramps at Lacy Street, causing some traffic to back up, said Eastsider freelancer Christopher Morales.

There were no reports of injuries, the L.A. Fire Department said on Twitter.
