Lincoln Heights—  A brush fire scorched about 5 acres Saturday night near the 3100 block of  Sierra Street before being contained by firefighters, said the L.A. Fire Department.

The fire was declared knocked down at 9:29 pm — 44 minutes after the blaze was reported.

There were no reports of injuries or damage to structures, said the LAFD.

No further details, including a cause of the fire, was available.
