Designers Breland/Harper consider the experience of their homes from every aspect. They compose fine but simple elements – flooring imported from Italy, solid brass hardware, hand poured concrete counters – and combine them with a minimalist eye.
Mountain breezes bring the perfume from the sustainable garden -planted with lavender and olive trees- through the many steel windows that wrap the house. From the rambling private garden path one can admire custom steel railings and the standing seam metal roof which shelters the airy rooms below.
Once inside, the spacious living area and kitchen opens
onto a large terrace creating the opportunity for indoor/outdoor living. Upstairs, the vaulted ceilinged master ensuite and two bedrooms include sizable closets and offer serene promontories from which to take in the expansive canyon views. The ground floor contains the guest suite, as well as direct access through a spacious two car garage. Seated at the crest of dreamy Elyria Canyon.
